What's included on the Free plan
This service transforms images that are already hosted externally - resizing, format conversion and similar operations - without you needing to store the originals with Cloudflare. It's free for up to 5,000 unique transformations a month; once you reach that limit, additional requests are blocked rather than silently generating a surprise charge.
Planning your integration
Before activating, it's worth deciding: which source image URLs you'll transform, which output formats you need, what transformation rules to apply (size, quality, cropping), who should be allowed to request a transformation, and which part of your application will actually request or display each variant.
Getting it activated
Silurian checks your account and intended use before setting up the image-transformation configuration for you.
What's not available yet
Cloudflare Stream (video), Realtime, hosted image storage and paid image delivery aren't available for self-service ordering yet. Contact Silurian if your project needs one of these.
